Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the CleanShopLab website (cleanshoplab.com) and any services booked through it. By using this site or engaging CleanShopLab for services, you agree to them.

Services

CleanShopLab offers three services: CleanShop Sprint, CleanShop Call, and CleanShop Partner. The scope, deliverables, and fees of each engagement are defined in a written statement of work or service agreement signed before work begins. The website descriptions are marketing summaries, not contractual scopes.

Payment

Fees are invoiced in US dollars unless otherwise agreed in writing. Sprint work is billed 50% upfront, 50% on delivery, unless stated otherwise. Calls are billed at booking. Partner retainers are billed monthly in advance.

Refunds

For Sprints: if I cannot deliver the scope we agreed to for reasons within my control, you get a full refund. If the reason is outside my control (access issues, unresponsive stakeholders, store in a state that blocks the work), we will discuss in good faith.

For Calls: refundable up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. After that, the call is non-refundable but can be rescheduled once.

Warranty and liability

I do my best, but software is software. CleanShopLab services are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. My total liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the amount you paid for that engagement.

Your data

See the Privacy Policy for how I handle personal data. For client engagements, I will only access the Shopify stores and systems you explicitly grant me access to, and only for the purpose of the work.

Intellectual property

Code I write for you during a client engagement is yours to keep and modify. I retain the right to reuse general techniques, patterns, and non-client-specific knowledge I develop along the way.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes will be handled through the courts of the Paris jurisdiction, unless mutually agreed otherwise in writing.

Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. Material changes affecting active engagements will be communicated by email.
